HIGHLIGHTS  OF  THE  YEAR  2005

 

January

Annual Congress of Lithuanian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (LBFF) took place in Siauliai’ Entertainment Centre NEOPOLIS.

 

May

Year 2005 was historic for the Lithuania - bodybuilding celebrated it’s 40th anniversary. Lithuanian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation under leadership of president Dr. Ramutis Kairaitis in Kaunas sport hall organized the 25th National Championships. Special medal by Stasys Zirgulis and Gold and Silver pins by Henrikas Bikinas were presented to the merited veterans of this sport. 

 

June

Alina Cepurniene took the women’s masters title and Giedrius Abeciunas was second in the juniors fitness class in Bialystok, Poland were European Masters and Juniors Championships was held.

 

September

Zivile Raudoniene’s star shone brightest at the 2005 Women’s World Body Fitness Championships in Santa Susanna, Spain where she won silver medal.

 

November

Alina Cepurniene was tops in women’s masters bodybuilding class while Deividas Dubinas took second place in juniors fitness division at the Juniors and Masters World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.  

 

 

 

“Came and won” – holding on such style Alina Cepurniene from Vilnius gained

a double victory at the European and World Masters Bodybuilding Championships.

 

 

 

2005 Ranking winner Alina Cepurniene celebrated her triumph sharing cake

with delegates at the LBBF annual congress in Siauliai’ Entertainment Centre

NEOPOLIS.

 

 

 

Legendary Olegas Zuras (in the middle) winnnig the seventh overall Lithuanian

champion title set a new summit. Behind Zuras are Rolandas Pocius (L) and

Giedrius Gailiunas.

Giedrius Abeciunas finished 2nd at the European Juniors Fitness

Championships.

 

 

 

Lithuanian blond beauty Zivile Raudoniene  (L) took the silver medal

at the Women’s World Body Fitness Championships.

 

 

 

Deividas Dubinas was the runner-up at the World Juniors Fitness

Championships. Beside Deividas his girlfriend Edita.
